Prohibitions

Use of the Services (as defined in the MPCVault VISA Card Terms) for any dealings, engagement, or sale of goods or services linked directly or indirectly with jurisdictions MPCVault has deemed high risk, such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk Regions, or persons MPCVault has deemed high risk, such as individuals or entities named on a restricted person or party list of the U.S., United Kingdom, European Union, or United Nations, including the sanctions lists maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control or the Denied Persons List or Entity List maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce, is prohibited.

In addition to these exclusions from MPCVault’s platform, MPCVault does not allow companies registered in prohibited jurisdictions, or individuals residing in, registered in, or otherwise located in prohibited jurisdictions, to open card accounts. The list of currently prohibited jurisdictions is as follows and may be updated from time to time as required by relevant authorities, changes in applicable laws, card network rules, issuer requirements, or at MPCVault’s discretion.

Prohibited Jurisdictions

MPCVault Card Accounts and MPCVault Visa Cards are not available to cardholders who reside in, are registered in, or are otherwise located in the following jurisdictions:

• Belarus

• China (Mainland)

• Cuba

• India

• Iran

• Iraq

• Israel

• Myanmar

• Nepal

• Nicaragua

• North Korea

• Russia

• Syria

• Turkey

• Ukraine

• Venezuela

• Vietnam

Cardholders in jurisdictions listed on international watchlists, including but not limited to the FATF Grey List, may require case-by-case review and explicit compliance approval.

Spending Prohibited Jurisdictions

MPCVault Visa Cards cannot be used for spending in the following jurisdictions:

• Cuba

• Iran

• North Korea

• Russia

• Syria

• Ukraine

• Venezuela

Card usage is prohibited in each of the jurisdictions listed above, regardless of whether the cardholder is an individual or an entity.

Merchant-Specific Restrictions

In addition to the jurisdictional restrictions set forth above, the following merchant-specific restrictions apply and may be updated from time to time as required by applicable law, card network rules, issuer requirements, or compliance obligations:

Cardholders residing in, registered in, or otherwise located in Egypt may not use MPCVault Visa Cards to purchase Starlink products or services. Satellite internet services provided by Starlink are not licensed for operation in Egypt, and all such transactions will be declined.

Prohibited Activities List

Companies whose primary business is any of the following are prohibited from accessing and using the Services, including the MPCVault Card Account and the MPCVault Visa Card (as such terms are defined in the MPCVault Visa Card Terms).

The examples listed below are not exhaustive and we reserve the right to modify or update the lists below at any time by posting a revised version to our website. The revised version will be immediately effective upon posting. If we determine in our sole discretion that you engage or have engaged in activities that are illegal, may harm others or our reputation or operations, or violate our or others’ rights, including by engaging in any of the activities below or authorizing or helping others to do so, we may deny, terminate, or suspend your use of the Services.

1. Regulated or Illegal Activities

• Distribution, sale, or facilitation of illegal substances or controlled drugs without proper licensing;

• Production, sale, or distribution of guns, accessories, ammunition, explosives, or other weapons, where prohibited by applicable law, card network rules, issuer requirements, or compliance requirements;

• Production, sale, distribution, or facilitation of illegal material or illegal digital content, including but not limited to child exploitation material;

• Human trafficking, prostitution, escort services, or similar platforms;

• Sale of counterfeit, unauthorized, or gray market goods or services;

• Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or other unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent practices;

• Political campaign fundraising or donation platforms;

• Dark web marketplaces, hacking, cybercrime, or related services;

• Unlicensed internet pharmacies or pharmacies operating outside regulated jurisdictions;

• Unlicensed or illegal auction sites;

• Unregulated lending, payday loan, or similar services;

• Data brokerage services involving unauthorized personal data;

• Purchase, sale, or trade of endangered species or wildlife products; and

• Hazardous materials or chemicals without proper regulatory clearance.

2. Digital Currency and Financial Restrictions

MPCVault Visa Cards cannot be used for the purchase, sale, or trade of digital currencies, cryptocurrencies, virtual assets, or similar instruments.

3. Products and Services that Infringe Intellectual Property

• Sales or distribution of music, movies, software, or any other licensed materials without appropriate authorization;

• Counterfeit goods or illegally imported or exported products;

• Unauthorized sale of brand name or designer products or services; and

• Any other products or services that directly infringe or facilitate infringement upon the trademark, patent, copyright, trade secrets, proprietary, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

4. Violent or Hateful Activities

Intentionally promoting, supporting, or perpetrating violence, physical harm, or hate toward any group or individual based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, immigration status, or any other legally protected characteristic under federal or state law.

5. Misuse of MPCVault Products

• Use of MPCVault products with false, manipulated, inaccurate, or misleading information regarding your identity, business entity, the nature of business, and any other information requested by MPCVault;

• Failure to immediately inform MPCVault of any changes to your personal or business information;

• Use of MPCVault products to facilitate transactions on behalf of another undisclosed person or entity or for products or services that were not disclosed in your MPCVault account application; and

• Use of MPCVault intellectual property without prior written consent from MPCVault; use of the MPCVault name, logo, trade marks, or service marks inconsistent with MPCVault’s brand usage requirements, or in a manner that otherwise harms MPCVault or the MPCVault brand; or any action that implies an untrue endorsement by or affiliation with MPCVault.

Restricted Activities List

Companies that are engaged in the following activities or businesses may be required to provide additional information or documentation, including evidence of licensing, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls, or may be ineligible for certain Services:

• Financial services providers, including banks or bank affiliates, securities brokers, money transmitters, investment companies, investment funds, Money Service Businesses, remittance services, or similar regulated entities;

• Cryptocurrency platforms, exchanges, brokers, or other virtual asset service providers;

• Charities and non-governmental organizations;

• Precious metals dealers;

• Online content or creator platforms, including subscription-based streaming or tipping platforms;

• Regulated gambling, betting, lottery, fantasy sports, sweepstakes, or games of chance operations; and

• Sale of controlled substances with proper pharmaceutical licensing, where permitted by applicable law.

The types of businesses listed in the Prohibited Activities List and the Restricted Activities List are representative but not exhaustive.
