MPCVault Now Supports Stellar Network
We are pleased to announce that MPCVault has officially integrated the Stellar network. This integration allows users to manage Stellar-native assets with institutional-grade security and collaborative governance.
Understanding the Stellar Network
Stellar is an open-source, decentralized protocol optimized for fast and low-cost asset issuance and transfers. Unlike general-purpose smart contract platforms, Stellar uses a unique Trustline mechanism—requiring accounts to explicitly opt-in to hold specific assets—which provides a structured environment for managing digital representations of currencies and real-world assets with sub-second finality.
Core Functionalities Supported
MPCVault provides a robust suite of tools for teams to interact with the Stellar ecosystem securely:
Asset Management: Securely transfer XLM and other Stellar-native assets (such as USDC) using our multi-party computation (MPC) technology.
Create Trustline: Manage asset permissions directly from your MPCVault dashboard. Easily authorize your accounts to hold specific assets from trusted issuers.
Soroban & Custom Transactions: We support the signing and execution of complex Stellar transactions via XDR. This enables users to interact with Soroban smart contracts, providing the foundational infrastructure for decentralized operations.
Unified Security and Governance
By bringing Stellar into the MPCVault, your Stellar assets are now protected by our Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology. All Stellar transactions, including asset transfers and Trustline creations, are governed by your vault’s existing policy engine. This ensures that every movement of value on the Stellar network requires the necessary team approvals and multi-sig authorizations, maintaining the same rigorous security standards applied to all other supported chains.
