What is a Passkey?
A passkey is an authentication method linked to your device or password manager. It lets you sign in using your device’s PIN or supported biometrics, such as fingerprint or facial recognition. It reduces the risk of unauthorized access and phishing attacks by eliminating the need to remember or enter passwords.
A Simpler Sign-In Experience
With passkey login, you can:
Sign in without email verification codes. Use your passkey instead of waiting for an email code, especially if verification emails are delayed or fail to arrive.
Skip mobile app confirmation on the Web Console. Previously, signing in with email or Google required confirmation through the MPCVault mobile app. Passkey login removes this additional step.
Passkey login is available on both the web console and mobile app.
How to Set Up a Passkey
Go to My Account → MFA and select Add new passkey. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup. Once configured, select Passkey on the login page to sign in.
